Single column debtbusterloans.com landing page (9)
This design hopes to split the sales messages off onto a front page and then concentrate more on support and reassurance messages on subsequent pages. This design went live in Feb 2008 and so far has had mixed results. Click through rates once customers arrive on the app form are very good but the extra drop-off because of the "pre" page seems to be limiting it to similar performance to the current control design. -
debtbusterloans.com gets AJAX (7)
In Sept 2007 I helped design a new landing page and added a number of enhancements to the application form. Primarily these were client-side enhancements based on usability. The design was never fully utilized but the application form enhancements were retrofitted to the current site. http://www.debtbusterloans.com/landing/apply-gh2.aspx -
debtbusterloans.com (SEO site) (4)
Until this release very little effort had been made to increase the sites visibility in natural search engines. This version of the site was used on all none landing pages and was more text based, it went live Sept 2007, we are still waiting to see the impact of these site changes. -
briefus.co.uk (8)
As the companies creative team (web and traditional) grew, we required a system for managing our briefing system. I designed and wrote briefus to meet this need. All members of our marketing department have access to the system and are able to create new briefs. One of the creative team leaders then assigns the brief to a member of the team and sets deadlines. Members of the team manage their work using their personal "to do" list and brand teams manage their briefs through the brand pages. The system has been a complete success and we have saved hours of administration time each week. The site was written using Ruby on Rails and released Mar 2007. http://www.briefus.co.uk -
centralcapitalloans.com (1)
The Central Capital Loans site is essentially just a set of PPC landing pages aiming at the best conversion rate possible. This design is taken largely from my design for Central Capital Mortgages. This page went live Feb 2007. http://www.centralcapitalloans.com/apply.aspx -
centralcapitalmortgages.com (1)
The Central Capital Mortgages site has been running for a number of years with limited profitability. My redesign has made huge improvements and at present other marketing campaigns have been suspended to concentrate on PPC as it has become the most profitable channel for the business. The site went live Jan 2007. http://www.centralcapitalmortgages.com -
debtbusterloans.com (enhanced landing page) (3)
After several months of making gradual changes to the Debtbuster loans site this version made a major improvement. The largest change from previous versions was minimising the amount of navigation away from the page (unusual in web sites). This landing page went live Nov 2006. http://www.debtbusterloans.com/apply.aspx -
centralcapital.com (3)
This is the Central Capital loans and mortgages site, mainly used for marketing to customers. It links through to the centralcapitalloans.com and centralcapitalmortgages.com sites. It went live Nov 2006. http://www.centralcapital.com -
loans4tenants.com (7)
The loans4tenants site was based on my own design, modified by our creative team (primarily a colour scheme change). I build the site myself, including the application form, which includes optional sections and pages - up to a maximum of 10 pages. The application form includes some javascript to hide and show sections and sends it's data through to a SQL Server database. The site was received very well by the business and enquiries were raised by approximately 50% (no data was collected on the previous site!). The site was also the first to utilise my custom written CMS system called dabble. The site went live Nov 2006. http://www.loans4tenants.com -
platinumloans.co.uk (4)
Platinum Loans was a new brand created in order to offer an individually chosen loan plan with a low rate so that we could advertise a low APR. Compliance required that we check the users eligibility for this plan and we had to provide duplicate versions of the site for other APR's. The design was provided by our creative team and I built the site, application form and the management of different APR versions of the site. The site went live June 2006 followed by a number of changes over the following months. After six months the PPC campaign was withdrawn as we felt the process of applying was too confusing due to the compliance requirements. http://www.platinumloans.co.uk -
debtbusterloans.com (2)
Debtbuster loans is the companies largest brand and the new site replaced a very old version produced by an agency that was not working effectively for the business. The design is deliberately unsophisticated, in order to engage the target audience. I built this site from a design provided by our creative team. The site went live May 2006. http://www.debtbusterloans.com -
centralcapitalcommercial.com (5)
This was a relatively new brand for the company and had been untested on the web. The site went live Feb 2006. We ran a PPC campaign for 9 months but eventually it was cancelled as the quality of enquiry was not sufficiently good (too many people applying did not match our commercial loan criteria). The site is still used for traffic from emails and mailing packs. http://www.centralcapitalcommercial.com -
Guernsey Electricity (5)
The Guernsey Electricity site combines a professional corporate look with a highly accessible structure. I have tried to emphasise the most used areas of the site (primarily the online services) while still allowing users several ways of navigating to the page they want. The site includes several areas of dynamic content such as the animated javascript news ticker and the product listings in the retail section. This content is provided from a Microsoft SQL Server database using ASP. The site went live March 2005. http://www.electricity.gg
