XBOX Customer Service?

Well the courier has finally taken my red-rings-of-death XBOX 360 away. The machine itself broke just before Christmas - that's Christmas 2006! After more than 10 phone calls to support there have been at least 8 failed attempts to send me box labels by email and two failed attempts to send them by regular post. I'll wait with baited breath to see if the b@stard machine ever turns up again. Fingers crossed.

Well, just goes to show I may have chosen the wrong console. A friend of mine recently bought a PS3 and it broke after just a few days. I was there two days later when the replacement arrived. Yes, TWO DAYS!!! Bloody M$.

Incredible! My fixed xbox 360 has finally returned to me - on 14th September. That's a few days short of two months since they collected it, and fully 9 months since my first support call to Microsoft. They included a short questionnaire which needless to say Microsoft did not score well on, and as way of compensation 1 whole free month on xbox live! I'm pretty impressed with the xbox but the reliability of the unit and the standard of customer support is appalling.
